California Dear Pastor
Joe, Nancy and the congregation of Son Light, Grace and love abound in your lives. Again it is a joy to
communicate about the advancement of the work of Jesus Christ.
Son Light extends itself, for the glory of God, by those CENTRO CRISTIANO HIJOS DE LUZ churches that we established in
Baja Callifornia: Barrancas, San Juanico and it’s pending church in Purisima
where they are going to give the us the temple. We felt much joy in the knowledge that we were part of the
birth of a new church in Bahia de Los Angeles, Baja California, where we
were for one week in a hut and an open canvas, without bathroom or water
and in unbearable heat. There
were difficult moments for my family, but in that place we gathered the
first souls of a new church. Your love, passion, and support for the mission in Mexico is
strong and makes it possible to continue advancing in the Lord.
THANKS TO GOD. We continued advancing and we have a new mission in Tlaxcala,
Mexico where people meet in a home.
Already we have the promises of souls converted.
February 21st - 24th I was in Tlaxcala
visiting the work, baptising and marrying two couples. We are looking at
the possibility of buying land to establish a new CENTRO CRISTIANO HIJOS
DE LUZ in Tlaxcala, Mexico. February
23rd I was preaching in an auditorium when finalizing a march
for Jesus … 2000 people in Mendoza, Veracruz.
God was present in this place. He healed and new people accepted
the Lord Jesus Christ, to God be the Glory. God uses circumstances that we do not understand and turns it
into other blessings. During
the operation of my eye, God gave me the grace of optometrist, Dr. Marco
Antonio Cortez. Dr. Cortez
said that he would like to help the people of low resources with infirm
eyes. Now he brings his
workers and equipment every 15 days to our church to treat the local
people. Many people have been taken care of.
The doctor also supports an optometrist for the people who have
need of inexpensive lenses. We pray for these doctors.
They love to help the needy, but they need to know Jesus.
During the time they have been with us at the temple, they have
been motivated to know about the Lord. We have a project in Easter to travel with the doctors to the
Barrancas
mission in San Juanico and Purisima in Baja California to care for 260
people with infirm eyes. We pray for this project because we are
possibly obtaining a small plane so that the transportation time is fast
to make the best use of our time there. God is very wonderful that He always maintains his people.
I greatly appreciate the love with which Pastor Joe, Nancy and
the Son Light congregation have ministered to our people. We have had
some difficult moments, but God has not let go of us: September: My
father passed into the presence of the Lord. November: There
was an emergency operation of my left eye because they were afraid I was
going to lose my sight. They
transplanted cardiac tissue to cover the hole in my eye. Thanks be to
God that everything came out ok. I
want to express my gratefulness to Son Light for your support.
The payment of this operation was beyond my reach, but God
supplied. Praised God, my
eye could be saved through His love. January:
My mother passed into the presence
of the Lord. March 1: The
husband of my older sister that lives in the Mexico City passed into the
presence of the Lord. There are difficult moments, but God has never failed. Son Light, Thank
you for your support, you have a presence in the Republic of Mexico. With Love,
