| We are finally getting our
house fixed up after traveling & living in a trailer all these
years. We have a kitchen in and are working on a bedroom. This house is
at least 100 years old. We travel on week ends and work on the house,
music and minister to neighbors during the week. We have several
people/families we minister to & counsel here. We are helping one
man with his alcohol problem who has really come a long way, he lost his
job (not alcohol related) and we helped pay his way to a trade school.
We are also helping a young man (22yrs old) as he goes to college. So we
are blessed to be used of God in these lives.
Our travels lately have put us in places at a time when a friend is in great need. One place a 48 yr old was dying of cancer and we were there to minister through the whole ordeal. Another time we showed up as a couple, who traveled and ministered like us, was going through a difficult time. So God's timing is amazing. We have had a rough time lately in the mid west as churches are small and have less income. It affects us all. We hardly get expenses met at times. So you have no idea how Son Light's support ministers to us each month. Larry still has some major work to be done on his teeth and we pray to hold out till we have the money. He's loosing all his back teeth due to a bone deterioration disease and will have to have a partial for the upper & lower back teeth. I appreciate your asking for the update. We'd love to be remembered in prayer. And thank you all SO MUCH for your love, prayers and support all these years... We wish there was a way to repay, but there is no way, other than to pray Our Heavenly Father repays you for your faithful service to us and to all you minister to at Son Light. In Jesus Love, |
