| Happy New Year!
Time is flying for us all. 02 was a good year. We finally finished this old house enough to move into it. We went into shock when we went to buy bedroom furniture. But we enjoy being house dwellers for a change. We sold the truck and trailer and got a used motor home. Our 1st experience with a motor home. We do like it and it was a good unit to start on to learn the in's & out's. Now we know what we really need. That's another story, another time. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in March. Actually we we're snowed in so we really didn't do any celebration. But what an accomplishment to make 20 yrs. We got to experience another branch of Christianity in April doing a Pastor's Conference in Branson, MO for the Evangelical Friends Church. Really enjoyed them and the Conference. We've been invited back this year. May & June was tough, as many know my mom had cancer surgery. Was a tough situation for me to get used to. My mom is doing remarkable. Thanks for all who prayed during that time. Aug. we were part of the Midwest Leadership Conf. again and were so blessed to see that group again. We were blessed to be a part of the Prophecy Conf. at Calvary Appleton, WI in Sept. and to return to the Church we got to be a part of the first 2 years in Leipers Fork, TN. That fellowship has really grown. In Oct. we sang at the annual Biblesta Festival in Humboldt KS. We were asked to judge in the Parade of Floats. I found out I'm not the right person for that gig. We finally finished our newest CD about this time, which is available at this web site...HOUSE OF AMAZING GRACE. We are happy with the way this album turned out. The first song is really leaving an impression on folks everywhere we go. We thank God for His Grace. We were blessed to finally make another trip to El Paso the end of Oct beginning of Nov. Then made another quick trip to CA in Dec and back for our web guy's Christmas Office Party and Larry's old band MS FUNK Reunion just before Christmas. Larry's family planned to meet in Branson MO for Christmas, and we were there but some of us bailed early as a bad storm was heading our way. We got caught in the worst of it on the way home. Some of the family kept going and got to Branson finally but we weren't able to all be there together at the same time. We finished off the year with Calvary Chapel Albuquerque South East's New Years Bash at a beautiful old hotel in Downtown Albuquerque. Can't believe I made it thru such a late night. We left the hotel about 1:30AM and had to drive an hour to the RV Park then Larry got up after a few hours sleep and headed home while I slept in a little. This is why Larry loves the motor home. Praying a blessed 2003 for us all. |
