They each led a life of crime, violence, and self-destruction. A personal life encounter with Jesus Christ ended all that. Over 25 years since then, they have been led to boldly reach out to addicts, abandoned and abused children, alcoholics, and prison inmates. Chaplains Bob & Pat Mecado work throughout the Los Angeles Sheriff's facilities, California Department of Corrections, Los Angeles Probation Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Children's Services. James & Grace were called by God to minister to the needs of the homeless men, women and children, in our community. Currently in Orange County, more than 15,000 people lack a permanent night time address and are considered homeless. Half of them are children under the age of 18, and half of those children have been estimated to be under five years of age. Women and children are also the fastest growing segment of the homeless population in Orange County. More Information |

Beloved brothers and sisters, we give thanks to God for what we have accomplished in God's work. Son Light has been part of this growth and the goals that we have obtained. We have been laboring in the work of the Lord, conducting outdoor services, evangelical meetings, and have seen many people saved and baptized. New Bible study cells have started and are growing. Children, living in problem homes and some with alcoholic parents, through their increasing faith have drawn their parents to our church. In 1994, Ray & Rebecca started a small ministry in the far east of Russia and now they have turned it over to their assistant pastor, Sergei Matyushenko. "While leaving here will be heartbreaking for us, we also have a great sense of fulfillment..." The Lord has open a new opportunity for Ray & Rebecca in the west of Russia about 200 miles south of Moscow in Tambov where they pastor a small church and are praying about opening a Christian cafe.
