Dear Friends: Thank you for expressing an interest in Son Light's Sunday School Program. We strive to carry out all children's programs with excellence. Our goal for all children attending our program is that each child will feel loved and valued as an individual person. We seek to teach scripture in such a way that it will become evident in their lives at home, at school and at play. Children are encouraged to read and memorize the Bible through the use of art, music and drama. Bible learning games are also used such as "Bible Trivia" in order that the gospel becomes real in their lives. We also provide opportunities for them to participate in prayer, Bible reading and worship. We also give children the opportunity to participate in a yearly "harvest Festival" in lieu of Halloween. We encourage the children to celebrate the blessings and faith that God has bestowed in all of us. Children are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Bible character for a time of games, good food and fellowship. In closing, we would like to re-emphasize some points of interest. One of our objectives is to consistently give assurance to parents leaving their children in their Sunday School classes that they are in competent and loving hands. By doing this, parents can be relieved of their natural parental worry and be spiritually fed. Parent's peace-of-mind is one of our main objectives.
